Fashion Week is once again upon us. It is one of our favorite times of the year, and that’s not just because it keeps us busy at the office. The notion of dressing up to rub elbows with fashion’s elite at parties while being surrounded by beautiful people and clothing makes us excited enough to…well, blog about it.

La Perla took full advantage of Fashion Week landing on Valentine’s Day this year with an event on almost every night of the week. We went to one of them at their SoHo store and had a blast. The Maribelle hot-chocolate bar was almost as eye-catching as the lingerie flourished models. We mingled among satin and lace while sipping on cocktails (or chocolate). Ain’t no party like an LP party. Thanks Sam!

Christian Cota’s swift and upward momentum in the fashion industry was validated at his latest Fall ‘09 presentation. After, recently winning FGI’s prestigious Rising Star Award, Christian kept things subtle, yet dramatic. He managed to create a very sophisticated look incorporating natural elements into his design and materials. Valerie and I, along with our plus ones, socialized with many of our clients and other fashion lovers to celebrate Christian’s continued ascent.
